BlackBerry Z10 Launched – 4.2 Inch, 1.5 GHz Dual Core Processor


BlackBerry finally unveild its much awaited and leaked smartphone BlackBerry Z10. The smartphone runs on the latest blackberry operating system, BB10 OS. The device is same as we reported from a leak.

The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is a full touch smartphone which comes with a 4.2-inch capacitive display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels which gives pixel density of 356PPI.

It is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone arrives with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. Other features of Z10 includes 8 MP camera with LED Flash, 2 MP front facing camrea which will allow you to enjoy Video calls on the BBM. The connectivity options in the smartphone include MicroUSB port, MicroHDMI port, LTE (in select countries), Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi. It also comes with a powerful 1800 mAh battery which is removable. So, if you are a power user, you can carry an extra battery with you and can replace it.

The BlackBerry Z10 will be available in UK first where the sales are starting from tomorrow followed by in Canada on February 5 for $150 with three-year contract. US consumers will have to wait until March to use the smartphone. There is no information on Indian launch yet.
