Xiaomi is gearing up to launch other products in India. Recently, the company started a puzzle content on its Facebook page in which the winners will get priority pass to purchase the product.
The words included in the puzzle are Expandable, Wide Angle, etc. which suggests its recently announced budget smartphone, the Redmi 2. However, there are many other words such as Keplar, Movies, Quick Charge, Dual SIM, etc. which hints at its long due product launch in India, the MiPad.
So, there is a possibility that Xiaomi could launch MiPad in India along with Redmi 2 on 12th March. Both the devices are expected to go on sale with the company’s usual Flash Sale model.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with a 4.7-inch IPS HD display (1280 x 720 pixels), 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB / 2GB RAM, 8GB / 16GB internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone runs on Android 4.4 based MIUI v6.
The Xiaomi MiPad comes with a 7.9-inch display (2048 × 1536 pixels), 2.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16GB / 64GB internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It supports expandable memory of up to 128GB with microSD and is powered by a 6700mAh battery.
