Xiaomi Mi Pad gets permanent price cut in India, now costs Rs. 10,999

Xiaomi is currently offering temporary price cut on its tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad but now the company has announced that the device will be permanently available at the same price of Rs. 10,999.

The table was originally launched in India for a price of Rs. 12,999. Now, as it is available for Rs. 10,999, the price cut of Rs. 2,000 has been made permanent by the company.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad comes with a 7.9-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It is powered by NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, clocked at 2.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

It also has an 8 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. The tablet is powered by a massive 6700mAh battery.

The new pricing is applicable while purchasing from the company’s official website and from Flipkart.

As the tablet has received permanent price cut, we can assume that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its successor – Mi Pad 2, which was launched in China in November 2015.
