Nexus 5X becomes more affordable, gets price cut in India

LG Nexus 5XGoogle launched the upgraded version of Nexus 5 called Nexus 5X on 13th October. The Phone was launched in two versions 16 GB and 32 GB priced at Rs. 31,900 and Rs. 35,900 respectively. To many interested people, the pricing of the smartphone felt a bit on the higher side.

Now there are some price discounts available of more than Rs. 7,000 for the 16GB variant and over Rs. 4,000 on the 32GB model can be saved on this phone.

On Amazon, 16GB Nexus 5X is priced at Rs. 24,573 and the 32GB model of the phone is priced at Rs. 31,550 for black color. Ice blue color is slightly costlier. It costs Rs.24,893 and Rs.31,990 for 16GB and 32GB model respectively.

Please note that these are the prices at the time of writing. Amazon can change price according to availability of the devices.

Now, with this price cut, the Google’s LG made Nexus 5X will compete against Motorola’s Moto X Style and the “flagship killer” smartphone – the OnePlus 2.

The Nexus 5X flaunts a 5.2-inch IPS Full HD display and is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset with Adreno 418 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has a 12.3 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 MP front facing shooter.

It also has a fingerprint scanner at the rear, Nexus Imprint. Along with USB-Type C, it supports Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2700mAh battery.

While there is no information about the Nexus 6P price cut but I believe that it might also see some price cut in the next few weeks.
