ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM model will be available from July 26

A couple of months ago, ASUS launched its budget smartphone in India — ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1. The phone was unveiled in three variants — 3GB RAM, 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. However, only 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM model were available.

Now, the company has announced that the 6GB RAM model of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be available for purchase in India from July 26th, exclusively through Flipkart for a price of Rs. 14,990.

The 6GB RAM model was initially scheduled to go on sale from June but the launch was delayed. The company has not provided any reason for the delayed launch. The 3GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 10,999 while the 4GB RAM model is available for Rs. 12,999.

The smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

There’s also a dedicated microSD card that can expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 2TB. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back as well as Face Unlock feature for added security.

For photography, the device sports a dual camera on the back, with 16MP primary sensor with LED flash, phase detection auto focus, f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor for generation bokeh effect. There’s also a 16MP front-facing shooter with soft LED flash and f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options on the device includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, and GPS + GLONASS. As for the software, the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
